Last Thursday Debbie, Paul, Chris and Alan went to Camposol to visit a small charity, Forget Me Not.
They were greeted by two of their volunteers, Diane and Helen who gave them a tour and explained what they do to help and support people within the local community. Forget Me Not hold day care sessions on a Monday & Thursday morning for people suffering from various health issues, including dementia & people who are in of need some company.
They fund a qualified nurse to be in attendance on both days, and they also supply a hot meal for everyone who attends.
There is also an art & craft table, games and occasionally some entertainment. HELP have donated €1000 to Forget Me Not and will donate a further €1000 in December.
They provide a great service for the community.
