Representatives of Help Murcia Mar Menor Charity were privileged to
meet with Josué Sanchez and his son from Hogar el Buen Samaritano
on Thursday 16 th October at Help´s Outlet in San Javier to hand over
3000 Euros to this very important charity.
Josué says that the donation will help them to feed many families and
children within this area on a regular basis. Every week they buy
chickens and fresh vegetables so that the people in need are getting
fresh food, which is so important to children, especially.
What Hogar El Buen Samaritano do:
- Provision Home
✔ Weekly distribution to more than 600 users throughout the year without
interruption
✔ We assist around 250 family units and approximately 250 children (up to 16 years
old)
✔ Fresh food: fruit, vegetables, eggs, meat…

✔ Hygiene and cleaning products
✔ Milk for nursing mothers, baby food, nappies… - Social and Employment Integration
✔ Support and guidance for job searching
✔ Workshops for developing skills and healthy lifestyle habits to improve
employability
✔ Preparation and presentation of CVs
✔ Information on job vacancies and training courses
✔ Individualised follow-up plan

HELP Mucia Mar Menor
HELP MURCIA MAR MENOR was formed as a Registered Charity in 2002 and operations
commenced in 2004 in humble surroundings in San Javier with the aid of just two second
hand wheelchairs. Some 20 years on we have no less than 80 pieces of equipment for loan
ranging from simple walking sticks to a fleet of Mobility Scooters embracing modern
technology.
Equipment is available from the Office which is open for business on Monday, Wednesday
and Friday from 10.00 – 12.30.
To supplement our income and to take the Charity forward it was decided in 2015 to open a
retail outlet offering the public a wide range of clothing, household items and furniture etc.
The Outlet is based in a convenient position in a small parade at the southern end of San
Javier. The Outlet is open five days a week from Monday – Friday 10.00 – 13.30. Deliveries
and pick-ups are on Wednesday and Thursday with prior arrangement.
We are a Voluntary Organisation
A registered voluntary charitable organisation funded by voluntary contributions and monies
raised at social events
Who do we help?
Primarily we lend out mobility equipment for a reasonable donation to our charity.
We also help causes close to the charity in the Region of Murcia
